We have had a common theme on this show over the past few months which has focused around the concept of ‘Attention’. The key principle being that your attention is either in a useful or useless place for the task you have in front of you.
So often we are the victim of a mind wandering almost everywhere other than the place we want it to be.
We accept that we should train our body but too little attention is paid to how we can train our attention and more importantly how we can react to the endless stream of ‘noise’ the mind throws up at us all day long.
This is perfect timing to introduce todays very special guest Vin Harris
Vin has an extraordinary story to tell and continues to live a fascinating life
He is a very successful businessman north of the border in Scotland but also a renowned meditation teacher.
He literally built the business with his own hands and now that business as Vin will explain is allowing a number of people to develop and grow in their own life.
He has also been instrumental in the creation of a degree course in Mindfulness at Aberdeen University which is proving incredibly popular and is a great resource for anyone looking to really enhance their knowledge of mindfulness and meditation
