I just had to put this podcast together after completing the Mind Factor Mindfulness Practitioner Certification that Vin Harris and myself led for a group of golfers both amateurs and professional players and coaches.

We have all heard of the benefits of Mindfulness.

The science behind it is REALLY strong.

The effects are apparent in ALL areas of life.

It really does help when your life is a struggle with perhaps anxiety or depression.

But perhaps most notably Mindfulness has not been explored enough in terms of helping us get BETTER at what we do.

Be that sport, business or life in general.

We have talked so much about ATTENTION on the Brain Booster yet what do we actually DO to train our attention?

The ability to have a daily PRACTICE

A practice that has LONG term benefits

We ran the training over 4 consecutive weeks with a 2 hour theory session on a Thursday and then a practice session on a Monday.

The effects of the group dynamic was simply stunning.

The accountability of being in a group made all of the difference to each and every participant.

As Vin Harris often says: ‘there is a BIG difference between a conceptual understanding of Mindfulness and an actual PERSONAL experience.

Deana is a very successful PGA coach from Oxford

She makes the point in the podcast that she had read and heard that virtually EVERY successful person she has come across has a Mindfulness practice yet she always felt that she ‘didn’t have time’ for Mindfulness.
